You may need a little more time than a take out type of restaurant but it is well worth it!

I had always thought that Pastelli's was just a Pasta restaurant and even though I have lived here since it opened, I have never gone to the restaurant. Today I had some errands to run downtown and thought I would order something take out and bring it back to the office. I was not really expecting much as I ordered the Haddock Piccata and was bringing it back in a styrofoam container. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised, it was beautiful, above and beyond! My only regret is that I was not able to sit and enjoy it there in the enclosed patio..a beautiful spot is what I discovered as they prepared my meal. I would have to say that this is the best meal I have had in Moncton in some time! VERY impressed and sure to go back...My compliments to the chef!

The tourism site sent me a contest to enter.. and thought I would check it out.. as forgot the name of it... next trip.. we will visit it again.. Not a big place, so reservations might be a good idea in season.

Shawna Stiles: We have always enjoyed dining at Pastelli's restaurant and have not once had poor service or food. Just recently we had a nice relaxing dinner to check out the newer renovations. The salad was excellent as well as the strawberry daiquiris. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and my date ordered the tour of italy. The meals were execellent and we were very pleased. I liked the area where you can see the chefs at work however the only little thing was the bread bar area was not large enough to move around with more then two people and the spreads were almost empty when we were there. We will defenitely return though.
